THE WHITE COMPANY SALE: BEST HOME BUYS

Updated: Aug 4

Unless you’ve been living under a rock (and no judgement if you have by the way), you’ll know that The White Company has launched its summer sale so there’s never been a better time to get your hands on their premium products but without the premium price tag.

Whilst I generally restrain myself as best I can when it comes to buying from The White Company (I’d love not to but Mr P would have something to say about our bank balance if I didn't!), I do love their home fragrances so when the sale hits, I tend to take advantage and stock up. Their bedding and towels are also a great buy when in the sale so it’s always worth having a look and some of their more expensive homewares like lamps, rugs and furniture often have a decent discount too.

A shopping bag with the word 'sale' on it

As any good home ‘influencer’ should, I’ve had a little peruse of what’s on offer so thought I’d share some of my favourite finds… basically to save you the time and effort - I know, I’m all about the giving!

If there are two things that The White Company is known for, it’s probably their luxury bedding and their candles. Arguably, they made plain white bedding popular and when it comes to their sale they usually slash the price considerably so if you’re in the market for a little bedroom refresh, it’s definitely worth a look.

Dorit Duvet Cover - from £65

Featuring a cute ruffled Oxford border and a subtle dove grey block print design , this duvet set is oh so pretty and currently has 50% off. Matching pillowcases and sheet are available too.

Albany Duvet Cover - £52.50 (only double left)

I’m a sucker for anything powder blue so this classic white bedding with dreamy soft blue edging caught my eye. Matching pillowcases and sheet are available too.

Erin Throw - now £66

Are you even an interiors instagrammer if you don’t own a billion throws? This soft recycled wool and cashmere blend offering looks cosy yet lightweight.. the perfect bedroom accessory for hunkering down on those colder nights without overheating.

As a long time buyer of The White Company’s home fragrance products, I would say they are worth the investment. Yes, they are pricier than some but leave aside a couple of duds I’ve experienced (one particular scent of theirs made me want to vomit before even opening the box and another left me decidedly underwhelmed due to lack of actual fragrance), their candles, diffusers and room sprays are a staple in our house.

Amber Luxury 2 Wick Candle - now £14

One of my favourites… it’s deliciously warm and musky with a zingy hit of ginger - perfect for a cosy night in. It also has a whopping 60% off in the sale so a great time to stock up! The diffuser and room spray are also in the sale.

Lime & Bay Soap - now £4

I always feel that White Company soaps are ‘guest bathroom’ soaps if you catch my drift… you know, the ones that are too nice or too expensive to actually use! However, at just £5.60 in the sale, lather up folks! The lime and bay fragrance is really fresh and uplifting and reminds me of a posh hotel or spa.

Fresh Grapefruit Hand & Nail Gift Set - now £19.60

Grapefruit and orange are a classic clean smelling combo that will never go out of style and this would make a lovely gift for a friend or yourself (there's absolutely nothing wrong with 'to me, from me' gifts - ha!). Presented in The White Company’s signature stylish white box, the hard work is already done for you…

H O M E W A R E S

I personally find The White Company homewares to be a little on the expensive side so unless I am lusting after something in particular, I tend to wait until the sale hits before purchasing but with a lot of 50% offers, it's best not to hang about because the best bits go fast!

Hayling Bowl - now £48

Still a little pricey for a bowl maybe but it's a beauty! Hand crafted in Indonesia, this bowl makes a statement and is perfectly suited as a standalone decorative piece or perhaps a fruit bowl.

Arno Bobble Bath Mat - now £22.40

The White Company bath mats are genuinely some of the best I've ever owned (I have both the Arno and the Antibes) and whilst I would probably be reluctant to pay full price for them, when on sale it's definitely worth buying a couple so you can rotate. They look smart and wash well... an all round good buy!

Rowley Dinner Candle Holder - now £7.20

These delicate hand crafted glass candle holders are a dining table staple and at just £7.20, I think they're a great sale purchase... perfect for a festive tablescape or all year round on a mantel.

Domed Glass Candle Holder with Tray - now £21 (small), £35 (large)

These hurricane candle holders are a White Company classic design that has been around for a while and sells out time and again. As mentioned previously, I'm not sure I'd pay full price for these but with 30% off in the sale, I think they're a great price.

Hambledon Scalloped Placemats - now £14 for 2

My final pick from the sale are these beautiful floral reversible placemats. They're soft powder blue - tick, scalloped - tick, quilted and embroidered - tick... what's not to love?

So there you have it, I could go on all day but these are just a few of the bargains to be found in The White Company summer sale. I'd love to know if you purchase any of my recommendations.
