If it's too early for you to contemplate Christmas then look away now but John Lewis has unveiled its festive themes for this year so I guess the countdown is officially on!
This year, the high street retailer has created four distinctive themes for its sought-after Christmas offerings - Sugar & Spice, Wisdom & Wonder, Dawn & Dusk and Trinket & Treasure.
Dedicated to celebrating the diverse spirit of Christmas, John Lewis hopes to be a one-stop shop for everyone this festive season, and its decorations this year are inspired by a celebration of contrasts so if you're planning a festive décor upgrade, look no further than the brand’s new offerings below.

Disco balls, sequin stockings and LOTS of pink; that’s what to expect from this unapologetically joyful theme. It's quirky, kitsch and sure to bring a smile to any Scrooge you may know. Baubles include sweet treats, gingerbread men, chequerboard patterns, retro icons and mirror ball cherries - it's not for everyone but in the right house could look fabulous!

This look is all about opulent indulgence with a colour palette of warm golds and rich oranges blended with classic black, white and gunmetal grey. Baubles feature mythical creatures, Greek sculptures, a glittery Martini glass alongside suns, moons and stars.

My personal favourite... inspired by mystical winter woodlands, this rustic theme is brought to life with glass mushrooms, holly print bedding and illustrated gift wrap. The classic colour palette of red and green is reimagined in grown up tones of burgundy and khaki and velvet is used as a key texture throughout. John Lewis' bestselling woodland animal decorations have been given an upgrade too with chic new outfits.

Inspired by world travel, Trinket & Treasure feels distinctly wholesome and is John Lewis' first festive collection to be completely glitter-free. Instead, decorations combine embroidery details and felt textures for a charming handcrafted feel. With a colour palette of indigo tones, deep reds and metallics and considered materials from recycled denim to papier mache baubles, it puts a real emphasis on crafting and upcycling.
