So far, the great British summer has failed us in spectacular fashion and I don't know about you but my thoughts are already turning to cosy Autumn evenings so when the M&S Home AW24 lookbook dropped in my inbox recently, I jumped straight in and let me tell you... it's seriously good!
I've said it before and I'll say it again, M&S are killing it in the homewares department of late and if the new collections are anything to go by, that looks set to continue into the season ahead.

In the last year or two, M&S has brought us on-trend, stylish pieces that send social media into a frenzy, not least because while these pieces boast a high-end look they are also extremely affordable - we've all seen the iconic Kirsten lamp, the Fired Earth drip vase and the kitsch cabbage bowls right? So, let’s see what swoon-worthy designs will be flooding our insta feeds in the upcoming months shall we?
According to the official press release, the new season collections showcase two distinctive and timeless house styles – namely Classic Revival and Casual Sanctuary which together embrace the 'quiet luxury' interiors trend, tonal styling and pops of accent colour.

Blending an eclectic mix of retro style with contrasting patterns, bold checks and intricate florals, the Classic Revival edit encapsulates an old-meets-new feel with a warm yet vibrant colour palette of greens and pops of mustard, muted reds and calming blues. Think cute ruffle trims, heritage stripes and quilted patchworks on statement bedding and textiles to layered patterns, fun scallop detailing and painted finishes.

Timelessly stylish, the Casual Sanctuary collection blends a soft minimalist look with cosy layers and tactile finishes. With a nod to mid-century interiors, a warm and earthy colour palette is paired with checkerboard designs, textured stripes and jacquard prints.
Home accessories feature an artisanal finish for a modern, yet authentic handmade feel while soft furnishings focus on texture incorporating bouclé, embroidery and chunky knits. From the preview I've seen, this collection is giving some serious Soho Home vibes which is never a bad thing.
