DUNELM: WHAT'S COMING FOR SS24?

A new year always brings with it a flurry of home décor product launches and I’ve recently had the chance to cast an eye over the Spring/Summer 24 lookbook from high street hero, Dunelm so thought I’d share some of the delights that are already hitting the stores… and also what’s to come.

In recent years, Dunelm has really upped its homewares game, bringing us on-trend, stylish pieces that send social media into a frenzy, not least because while these pieces boast a high-end look they are also extremely affordable. So, let’s see what swoon-worthy designs will no doubt be flooding our insta feeds in the upcoming months.

Dunelm Heart & Soul SS24

Heart & Soul

Dunelm is already killing it with the launch of its new Heart & Soul collection which draws on the uplifting colours of the season and embraces a ‘modern-vintage’ aesthetic. Artisan painted motifs, bobbin techniques, the ever popular scallops and checkerboard designs are interspersed with patchwork, gingham and floral embroidery… be still my beating heart! It’s a real feast for the eyes which aims to evoke Spring’s upbeat mood and I think you’ll agree, that box is well and truly ticked.

Churchgate

Dunelm’s higher-end yet still very affordable, Churchgate collection, has been around for a little while now and couldn’t be more up my street. According to the designers, it’s all about ‘beauty, utility and quality’ and the new season is set to include classic furniture design, soft furnishings featuring timeless prints and fabrics and hand crafted ceramics.

Spring/Summer also sees a new Churchgate outdoor collection which leans towards quintessentially English country gardens for its inspiration… think charming terracotta pots, quaint wooden dining sets and traditional planting accessories.

Minimaluxe

New for SS24, Dunelm is introducing its Minimaluxe collection which according to their Head of Design & Development, ‘focuses on gloriously tactile textiles and upholstery, muted lighting, smoked glass and honey wood décor’.

This collection is giving me some definite retro vibes with its clean lines and curves, light wood finishes, shiny metallics and contrasting bouclé fabrics.

The Edited Life

In a bid to encourage self care and relaxation, The Edited Life from Dunelm focuses on natural textures and sumptuous layers in muted tones. The product design is pared back, clean and unfussy while materials are quality - think wood, linen and rattan - it’s IKEA meets The White Company.
